GIGI Program Launched
Last September 2, 2009, the Green Initaitive, Green Imperative (GIGI) program of the General Services Department was launched at the Centen Sports Plaza . Administrators, faculty members, and students joined together to welcome GIGI as part of the institution’s environmental programs. In his message, DLSL President Br. Mawel stressed the significance of the event and reiterated especially to the young ones the repercussions if Mother Nature is neglected. It is the responsibility of each and everyone, whether Lasallian or not, to do his or her part in protecting Mother Earth.

Mainstreaming Deaf Education
DLS-CSB is one of few educational institutions in the Philippines that provide Deaf students an opportunity to earn a college degree through programs suited for the Deaf learner’s need for inclusion in industries and communities.
With the Lasallian centennial just a few years away, DLS-CSB’s School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies (SDEAS) looks forward to extending its accessibility and inclusion programs for the Deaf. It aims to mainstream Deaf students with hearing students in classrooms by school year 2011-2012.
