Atty. Antonio Oposa Jr., a famous environmental lawyer and an alumnus of De La Salle University, will be the only Filipino among six recipients of the Ramon Magsaysay award this year. In an article from Inquirer, Oposa was recognized as one of the awardees who will be receiving the prestigious award later this month at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
Oposa was recently honored with the Distinguished Lasallian Award during the One La Salle Night of Excellence organized by the De La Salle Almuni Association.
