The De La Salle University Medical Center (DLSUMC) has learned that the throat swabs of the three suspected A(H1N1) patients who were admitted on June 14 tested NEGATIVE from A(H1N1) infection. The three siblings, aged 3, 5, and 9 were admitted to the DLSUMC due to upper respiratory tract infection. All three arrived in the Philippines from Japan on June 3 and have had cough, colds, and fever since June 8. The patients speedily recovered and were discharged June 16, two days before the results of the test were released by the Research Institute of Tropical Medicine.
