17 June 2009 - La Salle Green Hills (LSGH) and LSGH president, Br. Felipe Belleza, Jr. FSC were featured in a Philippine Star article entitled "A football field of dreams" for contributing to the dream of a 'one football team'. The team is the Philippine contingent for the 2009 Homeless World Cup (HWC) to be held in Milan, Italy on the 6th of September. The HWC is an international football tournament organized by the Homeless World Cup Foundation to increase awareness on the problem of homelessness around the world. The Philippines will be seeing action for the second time after finishing 37th out of 48 countries in 2008. In keeping with the Lasallian Mission and being a football fanatic himself, Br. Felipe opened the doors of LSGH to the team by letting them use the school's football field as their regular practice venue in preparation for the tournament.
