NCAA 11th Season Torch Relay
The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) – South successfully had a torch relay last 27 July 2009 at De La Salle Lipa. This tradition is in preparation of the awaited 11th season opening on August 29, 2009 at this year’s host school, San Pablo Colleges. This year’s theme is “Blaze and Shine in 2009.”

The Lasallian Leadership Program
The recently concluded Third International Lasallian Leadership Program held in Rome, Italy at the Casa Generalizia that took place on 7 June until 19 June 2009, was attended and represented by Mr. Hermogenes Panganiban, Dean of College of Education, Arts and Sciences (CEAS). The global event was participated in by various countries such as the United States, Philippines, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, and Palestine. The annual program that brought together fifty-three participants from twenty-four universities had the opportunity to introduce their respective institution via their video and printed promotional materials.
