Building Bridges Through Education

Consul General Raul S. Hernandez witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the De La Salle Canlubang, Inc. of BiƱan, Laguna (DLSC) and Xiamen University of Technology of Xiamen, China (XMUT) on May 6, 2009. Signing on behalf of the two universities are DLSC President Br. Joaquin S. Martinez FSC, D. Min. and Prof. Xia Xiaocai, Director of XMUT International Cooperation and Exchange Office.

DLSUMC opens New Service Ward

In response to the Brother President’s thrust to increase the number of charity beds in DLSUMC, a new service ward was opened on the 3rd floor at Building 1 of DLSUMC. The new ward brings DLSUMC eight service beds and two Isolation Rooms closer to its goal of having 100 service beds by 2010. The addition brings the number of service beds at DLSUMC to a total of 37 beds.

BMW Speaks Before World Congress

Brother President Manuel R. Pajarillo FSC was keynote speaker during the 7th De La Salle World Congress held in Los Angeles, California, USA from 22 to 24 May 2009. It is a biennial world-wide reunion of all La Sallians, themed “Green and White Convergence”, envisioned to be a convergence of La Sallians from all over the world coming together toward a common point: One La Salle, One global community.

DLSL Signs MOA With SPU-Manila

DLSL, in consortium with St. Paul University (SPU) – Manila, is pleased to announce that two new programs are now being offered - the Master of Arts in Nursing (MAN) with majors in Academic Management and Clinical Management; and the Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Education, Major in Leadership and Management.

Students on the way to recovery

As of June 9, the Department of Health has announced seven confirmed cases from De La Salle University. All of the reported cases have exhibited mild symptoms. Three of the foreign students have fully recovered and are cleared for discharge by DOH.
