BMW Voted Regional Director of IALU

Philadelphia, USA - In the plenary session held in the afternoon of Friday, June 26, 2009, at La Salle University, Philadelphia, USA, the General Assembly of IALU, or International Association of Lasallian Universities, unanimously voted De La Salle Lipa President Br. Manuel R. Pajarillo FSC, as Regional Director for the Asia-Pacific Region. The post is normally held for three years, until the next IALU General Assembly.

New Base Hospital for CoN

Lipa Medix Medical Center (LMMC) is the new base hospital of the College of Nursing (CoN) of De La Salle Lipa. Last June 16, 2009, LMMC, and the CoN of DLSL formalized the contract for LMMC as the Base Hospital for the CoN and a Memorandum of Agreement for LMMC as Affiliation Hospital Provision for Bachelor of Science in Nursing at DLSL. The agreement is effective May 14, 2009.

We’ve still got it! PAASCU grants level 3 re-accreditation to DLSU-D

“The Colleges of Liberal Arts, Science, Education, Business Administration, Accountancy and Computer Science are granted re-accreditation for a period of five years, valid until May 2014. Congratulations!” This was the significant, albeit short, message from the Philippine Association of Accrediting Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) Board of Directors that came in on May 25.
